Air Duct Cleaning — Free Video Inspection, Proof Included
Every air duct cleaning starts with a free video inspection and a flat, written quote before any work begins — covering every supply vent, every return, the trunk lines, and the blower compartment. We show you video from inside your ducts before we start and hand you before-and-after photos when we finish. Serving Montgomery, Chester, Bucks, Delaware, Berks, and Philadelphia counties from our King of Prussia base.

What's included in our air duct cleaning?
One flat, written quote covers a complete cleaning of one HVAC system: every supply register, every return grille, the main trunk lines, and the blower compartment — not a vent-by-vent upsell. A free video inspection inside your ducts comes first, and before-and-after photos come standard so you can see exactly what changed.
Most duct-cleaning quotes in the Philadelphia area are deliberately vague, because vague quotes leave room to add charges once the crew is standing in your basement. Ours isn't: you get a flat, written quote after the free video inspection, before any work begins. Here is the full scope of a routine cleaning, in writing:
- Every supply vent — registers removed, boots and branch runs cleaned to the trunk
- Every return — including the large floor and wall returns that collect the heaviest dust in the house
- Main supply and return trunk lines — the wide sheet-metal runs where debris settles for years
- Blower compartment — the fan that pushes air through everything else, cleaned at the source
- Free video inspection first — we put a camera inside the ducts and show you what's there before any work begins
- Before-and-after photos — proof of the result on every job, not a verbal "all done"
- Register covers washed and reinstalled, work areas left the way we found them

Why the video inspection comes first
If your ducts don't need cleaning, we'd rather tell you that than take your money. The camera settles it in five minutes: you see the actual condition of your ductwork on screen, we explain what's normal dust versus real buildup, and you decide with evidence instead of a sales pitch.
It also protects you on the other end. The same camera that shows the "before" documents the "after" — so the proof of the work is the inside of your own ducts, not our word for it.
Call (484) 367-5944How do we clean air ducts? Source removal, not "blow and go"
We use the source-removal method — the approach NADCA sets as the industry standard: the entire duct system is put under negative pressure with professional Nikro equipment while agitation tools knock debris loose, so contaminants are pulled out of your home through HEPA filtration instead of being stirred into the air.
Video inspection
A camera goes into the ductwork first. You see the condition of your supply and return runs on screen before anything is opened up or any work is agreed to.
Seal and pressurize
We connect a Nikro negative-pressure machine to the trunk line and seal the registers. The whole system becomes one controlled vacuum — nothing that comes loose can escape into your living space.
Agitate every run
Air whips and agitation tools travel through each branch line, breaking dust, pet hair, and debris off the duct walls. Loosened material is pulled straight to the machine, not pushed deeper into the system.
Clean the equipment side
The blower compartment and accessible components get cleaned too. Skipping the blower means the fan re-coats your freshly cleaned ducts within weeks — so we don't skip it.
HEPA capture and photo proof
Everything extracted passes through HEPA filtration before air is released. Then we photograph the finished ductwork and walk you through the before-and-after set.

Why the equipment matters
A shop vac and a spinning brush at one register is not duct cleaning — it's dusting the first three feet of a system that can run over a hundred feet. Negative-pressure machines move enough air to keep the entire system under suction while the agitation tools work, which is the difference between removing debris and rearranging it.
That's the core of the source-removal standard: capture at the source, verify with your own eyes. It's also why we invested in Nikro machines instead of the portable units that make the $49 coupon crews possible.
What do we actually find inside ducts?
The most common finds in Greater Philadelphia homes: decades of compacted dust in floor returns, biological growth on supply diffusers in humid rooms, construction debris left from renovations, and — more often than you'd expect — animal nests. These photos are from our own jobs in the area.

How much does air duct cleaning cost?
You get one flat, written quote before any work begins — and that's the number you pay. The free video inspection comes first, so the quote is based on what's actually inside your ducts, not a guess over the phone. Routine cleaning and deep cleaning are scoped honestly as different services, sanitization with EPA-registered products is optional, and there are no trip fees anywhere in our service area — no arrival surcharges, no per-vent math.
| Service | How it's quoted | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Free video inspection | Always free | A camera inside your ducts, condition explained on screen, before you commit to anything |
| Routine air duct cleaning | Flat written quote, agreed before work begins | All supplies, all returns, trunk lines, blower compartment, before/after photos |
| Deep cleaning | Scoped separately, in writing, only when the video shows it's needed | Added labor for heavy contamination: caked buildup, renovation debris, nest removal |
| Sanitization add-on | Optional, quoted in the same written number | EPA-registered products applied after cleaning — offered only when it makes sense |

Book OnlineIs air duct cleaning worth it — and when should you skip it?
Honest answer: not every home needs its ducts cleaned, and the EPA does not endorse routine duct cleaning as a proven fix for indoor air quality. Cleaning is clearly warranted in specific situations — and our free video inspection exists so you find out which camp your house is in before spending a dollar. (Searching for furnace cleaning or HVAC duct cleaning? Same system, same service — the blower and accessible air-handler components are included.)
Cleaning is clearly warranted when…
- There is visible mold growth inside ducts or on HVAC components
- Ducts are clogged with heavy debris or visibly release dust from the registers
- Rodents, birds, or insects have gotten into the ductwork
- You've just finished a renovation — drywall dust and sawdust travel straight into open ducts
- You bought an older home and there's no record the system was ever cleaned
Think twice when…
- The system was cleaned within the last few years and the video shows light, normal dust
- Someone promises duct cleaning will cure allergies or illness — health claims that strong aren't supported by the evidence
- The pitch started with a $49 coupon and escalated to a mold emergency in your basement
- Your real problem is a filter, humidity, or ventilation issue — cheaper fixes we'll point out when we see them
What do the results look like?
Drag the handle to compare the same duct before and after source-removal cleaning. This is the standard we photograph on every job — bare, clean metal, not "less dusty".

Every customer gets a set like this from their own home. If a company can't show you the inside of your ducts after the job, ask yourself what was actually done up there.

Air Duct Cleaning Questions, Answered
How long does air duct cleaning take?
Plan on 2 to 4 hours for a typical single-system home. The video inspection takes about 15 minutes at the start; setup of the negative-pressure machine, cleaning every supply and return run, the trunk lines, and the blower compartment takes the rest. Larger homes, second systems, or deep-cleaning conditions like nest removal add time — we tell you before we start, not after.
How much does air duct cleaning cost?
Routine cleaning — for systems cleaned within the last ~3 years — starts at $299.99 per HVAC system, and deep cleaning for systems that have gone 3+ years (or never) starts at $650. Sanitizing is an optional $200–$550 add-on per system. Every job is priced as a flat written quote after the free video inspection, and the quote is the invoice. See the full price list or get a range in 60 seconds with the instant quote calculator.
Is the quote really flat, or is it a starting price?
It is flat, and it is in writing before any work begins. The quote covers the complete routine cleaning of one HVAC system: every supply vent, every return, the trunk lines, and the blower compartment, plus the video inspection and before/after photos. If the video shows heavy contamination like caked buildup or nesting, deep cleaning is scoped as its own service and quoted separately — and optional sanitization is offered the same way. All of it is agreed to before work begins, so you will never hear a new number mid-job.
How often should air ducts be cleaned?
Every 3 to 5 years is a reasonable rhythm for most homes, but the honest answer is "when they need it". Clean sooner after a renovation, a pest problem, or if registers are visibly blowing dust; wait longer if a video inspection shows only light, normal dust. That is exactly why our inspection is free — it tells you whether cleaning is worth doing this year or not.
Will duct cleaning make a mess in my house?
No — that is the point of the negative-pressure method. The entire duct system is kept under suction by the Nikro machine while we work, so debris knocked loose by the agitation tools travels to the machine and through HEPA filtration, not into your rooms. We remove and wash the register covers, protect the work areas, and leave the house the way we found it.
Will air duct cleaning help my allergies?
It can help, but be skeptical of anyone who promises it will. The EPA does not endorse routine duct cleaning as a proven fix for health symptoms. What cleaning verifiably does is remove accumulated dust, pet hair, and debris from a dirty system so the blower stops recirculating it — and many homeowners notice less settling dust afterward. If our camera shows your real issue is a filter, humidity, or ventilation problem, we will say so, because those fixes are cheaper than we are.
What is the catch with the $49–$99 duct cleaning specials I see advertised?
The catch is that the advertised price is not the real price. A legitimate whole-system cleaning takes a two-person crew several hours with equipment that costs more than a used car — it cannot be done profitably for $49. Coupon crews get in the door cheap, then "discover" mold or charge per vent, and the final bill routinely lands at many times the teaser price. Compare final numbers instead: our flat written quote is the whole job, agreed before work begins, with photos to prove it was done.
Do you clean the furnace and blower too, or just the ducts?
The blower compartment and accessible air-handler components are included in the routine cleaning. Cleaning ducts while skipping the blower is half a job — the fan is coated in the same dust and re-contaminates the system as soon as it runs. Full HVAC teardown service (coils, deep component work) is a separate scope we can discuss during the inspection if your system needs it.
